Barely Santa

We managed to squeeze everything in just barely...
We bought a tree, decorated the house, did a preschool hot cocoa fundraiser, went to Tehachapi, did a whole weekend for the Demboski Family Christmas party, attended both school's Christmas party and now we are left with the day before Christmas Eve. Why not squeeze in a trip to the Disneyland hotel before work to take pictures with Santa Clause.
We barely made it before I had to leave for work.
After standing in line for 20 minutes waiting for Santa to arrive, we were told that Santa was not going to be able to make it. I was so disappointed, But Paul to the rescue did a little digging around and found out that at the older Disneyland hotel, he would be making an appearance. So we literally ran through downtown Disney to get there in time to take a picture before I headed to work.
We barely made it, but got some great photos.

After I left separately from my family, I barely made it to work on time.

Annual Demboski Family Christmas Party Weekend

It's that time of year again when we all gather to celebrate with with friends and family Demboski style. This year was extra special with Becky and I both expecting and knowing there would be 8 grandkids next year celebrating the holidays with us.

Andrew and Allison are both finally at the age where they were so excited for Santa to come and bring them a gift. There was nothing but excitement and butterflies in the tummies as they awaited his arrival.

Ashley on the other hand was not thrilled when she saw him walk in the room.

Ashley's nipple obsession does not end with her own and she has no problem fishing around for other people's nipples as well including Aunt Katie's.

The two expecting mommies! We are due within two weeks of each other.

The performance of a LIFETIME

Andrew's class put on a performance for their winter concert. I was a little bummed when the other kindergarten classes got to wear cute Christmas jammies and Andrew's class wore their white and blue uniforms with these strange turquoise additions. But little did I know that Andrew was about to outperform every single  Kindergartner at Patrick Henry with his amazing song "Hanukkah".
Andrew proudly stood in front of the other students that were much shorter than him and sang his heart out. The lyrics were a little mish-moshed because they were in Spanish, but once the chorus came on "HANUKKAH!!!" was all you heard from my little boy. He was determined to be the loudest one on stage, and he succeeded. Our little group in the audience could barely keep it together to take pictures because we were laughing the whole time. I was almost in disbelief at what I was watching. He always wanted to be a rock star, and he finally had his moment.
I am so proud of this little singer. He shines where ever he goes.

This is probably my favorite picture and describes the performance perfectly. Just look at Andrew's face and the face of the kids around him. Andrew, YOU ROCK!

Happy in Tehachapi

We took a random trip up to visit the Tehachapians AKA Rochelle and her kiddos for some Holiday fun. Our kids were so excited to play in their backyard which was a snowy winter wonderland. The fun didn't last too long once they realized how cold it actually was and then came off all of the boots, jackets, gloves and hats. We had a great visit and even managed to make and decorate Christmas cookies with all 7 kids.
Although they live far away these cousins still manage to stay close and love one another.
