Happy Thanksgiving Demboskis

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at Paul's parents. The weather was perfect the food was delicious and the kids had a blast playing together. We have so much to be thankful for this year and we are looking forward to starting off a new year expecting our fourth and final baby. We still haven't told the kids, but as of this weekend celebrating Thanksgiving, everyone in the family knows.

There was a minor mishap with the sweet potato casserole this year. Becky placed the hot casserole dish on the hot burner which caused the dish to explode...literally.

My kids are definite omnivores. I am glad they enjoy their meat :)

Can't wait to add two more to this table next year. Our little one and Mike and Becky's little one.

Happy Thanksgiving en Espanol

Today Andrew had a Thanksgiving kindergarten feast. I was happy to be able to attend along with Ashley to watch my little boy feast with his friends. This whole Spanish school thing still amazes me. It has only been a few months since school has started and Andrew was understanding pretty much everything that his teachers were saying.
This November has been unbearably hot. Between sweating at Saturday morning soccer games and sweating while walking Andrew to and from school each day, I am looking forward to the Holidays being here and cooler weather.

Ashley's alone time.

Tonight I made smoothies for everyone to have at dinner. I set the table and once dinner was ready, everyone came to the table except Ashley. I looked all around for her, the kids and Paul helped. I started to get worried. I found her up in the playset drinking her smoothie. It makes me a nervous wreck knowing she somehow managed to climb the ladder up to the top, all while holding her cup.

I guess we all need alone time at some point in the day.
