Happy Easter!

Easter morning was full of smiles and chocolate! The Easter Bunny brought all sorts of goodies and gifts. Grandma and Papa Demboski and Aunt Becky and Uncle Mike came over for a yummy brunch, and of course the Easter egg hunt.

Allison was excited to have her chocolate bunny, and Andrew was excited to get more Skylanders!
Ashley was happy to eat her bunny for breakfast!

After brunch the sun came out and so did the nerfs. I don't remember the last time I saw Paul have that much fun. He and Mike were belly laughing as they were shooting the kids.

All three of them were attacking Uncle Mike. They thought it was hilarious!
Poor Ashley kept getting caught in the crossfire. Paul was only posing for the picture and didn't actually shoot her... I think :)

Pre Easter prep includes making rice crispie treats that we made into mini Easter baskets. Andrew and Allison are such great helpers. I am off of work this week to enjoy Spring Break. I am making the most of these precious moments.

We all colored Easter eggs. The kids were so excited, and dyed them all so quickly. We ended up going back and redying them all.
Ashley enjoyed sporting the Easter bunny ears. We decided to let her dye an egg, and of course the egg goes straight into her mouth.

She quickly caught on and splashed her egg around in the pink dye.

Andrew's chubby little hands were more green than his egg.

Me sneaking in a photo to prove that I too was present.

Open House

Tonight Andrew was thrilled to bring his whole family to his school to show off his classroom. He held his head high as he strolled around his classroom showing us the TK cafe, the reading area, his art work on the wall and of course his playground. We walked around the school and he showed us the office were he drops off the attendance and receives his "Cubberley cash". He was so happy to take pictures with Mrs. McCormick which he totally adores. He believes Mrs. McCormick knows everything there is to know in the world.
I am so proud of my little dude. He has come a long way in Transitional Kindergarden. He has made some wonderful friends and so have I. Andrew's best friends are Kingston and Jaylah, and luckily their moms are now my good friends. Andrew has good taste in friends :)

St. Patrick's Day on the Beach.

On the way back home from LegoLand, we stopped off along the beach to take some photos.

LegoLand

We headed to LegoLand with Grandma and Papa Demboski, Aunt Katie and Mike. Overall we had a great time. The kids enjoyed the rides, the adults enjoyed the cool weather.

Andrew was determined to climb to the top of this palm tree. I was a nervous wreck, and hoped the whole time that he would make it. I wasn't 100% sure he could get to the top. But I should have never doubted him, he was determined and he did it! He was so proud of himself and I was of course very proud as well. He is 5 going on 10.
