Disneyland

We took both kids to Disneyland last week. Grandma and Grandpa Bug met us there for dinner. We had a great time. It was Allison's first of many visits and it was Andrew's first time watching the Main Street Electrical Parade. It was a eye-opening experience watching my son dancing to that music and watching the floats that I enjoyed when I was a little girl. Andrew stayed awake for the whole thing and loved every second of it!

Yesturday was Paul's first father's day as a daddy of two. Andrew, Allison and I made him a stepping stone with the kid's handprints on it. We went to Nick's for breakfast burritos and then headed over to my folk's house for a veggie stir-fry and a soak in the jacuzi. Happy father's day Paul!!

First Entry

This is the beginning of our blog!! How exciting. Allison is now 3 weeks old and is doing great! She sleeps a lot and eats like a champ. Andrew is in love with her. He is constantly kissing her and loves to hold her. He is busy these days. He is very much obsessed with the lawnmower. He is constantly saying hi to it and wants to kiss it (he wants to kiss everything... he is such a lover). But when it comes time for daddy to mow the lawn, Andrew gets VERY scared! He needs me to hold him the whole time and he literally shakes! It is sad but pretty cute. He does the same thing with the vacuum cleaner.

I feel like life is starting to get back to normal after being on bed rest for 3 weeks, having the baby and recovering from surgery. I am still having pain and percocet is my best friend these days, but everyday gets better and we are settling in to life as a family of four, and I must say it is pretty nice. I was telling Paul tonight that ya know that feeling you get when you hear a fantastic song, I feel that way all day long. I am just so in love with my life right now! Thank you God!
