Doggy sleepover

Liberty is very loved these days. Although she has bad arthritis and can't pay fetch or run with the kids, she loves to lay down and watch the kids. She will never miss an opportunity to steal one of the kid's blankets, bean bag chairs or pillows. And she loves having blankets put on her, I think it helps her bones when she is warm and cuddly. Tonight I allowed the big kids to have a sleepover with Liberty on the floor in Andrews room. I'm sure if Ashley was able to participate she would have smothered our doggy.
Ashley sometimes has a love hate relationship with Liberty. She shows her love my cuddling up to her and sitting on her, which I'm sure does not help with the arthritis. But Liberty has learned over the past six years of living with children, that the littlest is the easier one to snatch food from. Ashley does NOT appreciate this at all! She screams and yells "NO GODY" (translation: gody = doggy is Ashley language). But no matter how many times Liberty steals a granola bar right out of her hand, Ashley still hasn't learned her lesson.
Good night.
