Lately when the kids wake up they jump into Ashley's crib and play with her. Paul and I have no complaints. Since it is summer vacation, we do not have to be awake at any certain time, and we are enjoying these leisurely mornings. We are are truly appreciating summer vacation!

Stroll and Savor
We finally made it to our first stroll and savor event on 2nd street! I have been wanting to go for years and I finally made it happen.
Andrew shared his ice cream with his little sister.
Allison shared her ice cream with her little sister.
Allison the most beautiful 4 year old I have ever seen.
We finished strolling and now we stop to savor.
Ashley LOVES to pose for pictures. All we need to do it say "Say Cheese!" and this is what she provides.
Andrew has his own special style. He got himself dressed for tonight. He took Paul's hat, put his belt over his shoulder, put his bracelet on and of course topped it off with boots. He is quite fashionable and enjoys wearing accessories.

Andrew's Last Day of TK!
A whole year has passed! Andrew was very fortunate to have been in Transitional Kindergarten at Cubberley. He has made some great friends, friends that I know he will be friends with his whole life, and thankfully his friend's moms are my good friends now too. It was a win-win situation.
Mrs. McCormick was Andrew's teacher. I am so happy we had her for our first real school year as a family. She was creative, patient and taught Andrew so much. She did her final reading to the class, "Oh The Places You'll Go" by Dr. Seuss. My favorite children's book.
The Three Musketeers with Mrs. McCormick. Kingston, Andrew and Jaylah.
My little dude has successfully finished his first year of school. He continues to amaze me every day. He has learned so much in school and I am so excited for him to start the next chapter in school at Patrick Henry and learn to speak Spanish!
Oh the place's you'll go...

My View Every Day
Each day when I drive and I look in my rear view mirror these are the two faces that I see. They drive me nuts sometimes with their fighting over unimportant things, but their joy and zest for life make up for it all. They always know how to make me smile. I can't wait to turn Ashley's car seat around so that I can see her cute little face too. I may not be able to see her in the rear view mirror, but I can certainly hear her.
This is another one of my views each day. They kids are obsessed with the Ipad. Andrew's favorite game is Mine Craft. Allison's favorite game is Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head. They discover all sorts of videos and trailers to watch and laugh together. I love when they play with it together.
And this is another view I have every day. OK maybe not everyday, but there is always something new they discover. Today Andrew turned this cardboard box into a costume. The rake and broom are the arms and of course the arm needs to hold a bucket. My favorite part was the whistle that Andrew had in his mouth.
